An opportunity to cycle together as a group of females and explore new cycle routes, stop for coffee/tea and some cake and enjoy some great company.
For those who would like to learn how to ride a bike at beginners level. The Learn to Ride sessions consist of 3 sessions that will get you from learning how to balance to cycling away.
For those who have completed the Learn to Ride sessions and would like to build their confidence and riding skill levels.
Cycling is a great way to improve your health. It is known to reduce the risk of heart disease, type 2 diabetes and a stroke. It can also boost your mood, support depression and anxiety
The cycle together sessions are free of charge.
The learn to ride sessions are £10 for 3 sessions.
The ride ready sessions are £10 for 3 sessions.
If you have your own bike, please bring it with you, a helmet and a bottle of water.
If you do not have your own bike and/helmet, don’t worry you can hike from us for £1.
We will be based outside in a public space so the space will not be female-only.
Just bring some water. During the winter, if you have a torch or a reflective band, then please bring one.
A relaxed environment where you will learn how to be more cycle confident. A nice day out/hour where you will meet others and enjoy cycling more.
Yes you can stop at any point and pray during the learn to ride or ride ready sessions.
Prior to the Cycle together sessions there will be access to toilet facilities but once we are out it may be difficult to find a toilet/ritual ablution facility.
